Good Morning

Today's Reading: Revelation 5:1; read pages 180-182 in Barclay; stop at "God's Book of Destiny"

-- the only thing I'll note about today's reading is the first thing that Barclay says -- he says that John got the image of the scroll from something written from the book of Ezekiel -- as opposed to writing down what he saw.

-- the seven seals, to me, indicate something of great importance and secrecy.

Today's Scripture

At that time men will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory. And he will send his angels and gather his elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of the heavens.

Today's prayer requests: Margaret Rose Severance

Brigette's grandmother, who has been battling complications from a fall last summer that resulted in a broken leg. She needs our prayers to help her recover more fully from the broken leg and the complications and the immobility that has resulted.
