Four verses from Hebrews today:

 

Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.  And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.

 

Hebrews 10:24-25

 

Keep your life free from the love of money and be content with what you have.

 

Hebrews 13:5

 

Obey your leaders and submit to their authority.  They keep watch over you as men who must give an account.  Obey them so their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no advantage for you.

 

Hebrews 13:17

 

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

 

Hebrews 13:8

 

Today's prayer request:   Our bosses

 

Need to pray for those who lead us at work -- the managers, owners, etc. that we work for.  We need to pray that they lead in a manner that is consistent with our faith, and that they do the right things for the right reasons.
